IMEA Manager of Member Services & Events

Dawn is a critical contributor to the development and execution of FUSE’s service and support commitments to the Investment Management Education Alliance (IMEA). She also works as part of a team to develop and implement IMEA promotions and social media campaigns and oversees website content for accuracy, relevancy and timelines. She also helps identify new event and engagement opportunities and manages the STAR Awards celebration and presentations. Additionally she will manage event logistics including food & beverage and A/V.

  • CASA Advocate. Represent children who have been abused or neglected and removed from their home situations.
  • Former Assistant Principal of K-8 school. Enjoy working with children.
  • Grew up raising and showing horses. Still love animals.

TOP ACCOMPLISHMENTS & FAVORITE PROJECTS

  • Managed and executed the two top events, a golf tournament and a clay shoot, for the Home Builders Association. Each event sold out every year and was profitable. 
  • Planned and executed the annual Home Show to promote the organization in the Kansas City community and provide a platform to help increase member success.

    • Planned and executed events to retain and increase association membership throughout the year. Worked with staff to identify ways to increase association income and serve the homebuilders’ community. Identified influencers in the city’s homebuilders community and recruited them for the organization. 
    • Managed the staff to market the organization’s value propositions to the community and managed, produced, and executed the large events for the association.
    • Worked within the national organization to promote the Kansas City chapter and implement national initiatives on a local level.
