Cindy Zarker

Relationship Manager

Responsible for providing the highest level of service to FUSE clients. Her role is to work closely with FUSE clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure that they achieve their strategic and tactical objectives. Cindy is also a contributor to FUSE Issue Briefs and other FUSE research and consulting projects.


  • Cindy has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Cindy received a BA in Economics from Skidmore College.

Cindy was Director, U.S. Asset Management Practice for Cerulli Associates, where she led U.S.-focused quantitative research and thought leadership creation for retail and institutional asset management topics including product strategy, distribution, and marketing. Her responsibilities included hiring and training new analysts, as well as writing and presenting research. Cindy also conducted interviews with executives, gathering and synthesizing insights; designed surveys for institutional/retail audiences including heads of distribution, DCIO/subadvisory, product management, investment consulting, and RFP teams; and nurtured executive relationships to maximize participation. 

Prior to Cerulli, Cindy was Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Development for Columbia Management, the precursor to Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where she managed a team of product professionals responsible for overseeing product line, with responsibilities which included generating new product ideas, conducting market analysis, financial analysis, reviewing marketing content, and training and supporting external and internal wholesalers.

She also implemented and managed the Product Governance Committee which brought together internal heads of legal, compliance, sales, and other functions to review, prioritize, and approve product initiatives including new funds, product enhancements and repositioning, fee changes, and other product initiatives.
