Only 59% of Asset Managers Use AI on Data in Distribution Efforts

May 31, 2024, Needham, MA – There is plenty of talk in the asset management industry about
deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize sales and marketing of investment products to
financial advisors, but the reality is far from firms’ aspirations. Only 59% of asset managers are
using AI in any of their intermediary distribution-related data initiatives, and those who do use AI
characterize those efforts as modest, according to a survey of asset managers conducted by
FUSE Research Network, an asset management data and research provider, in partnership with
The SME Forum, an industry organization for sales and marketing enablement.
