July 29, 2025, Needham, MA—Amid growing complexity in platform relationships and increasing pressure on asset managers to optimize distribution, a new survey from FUSE Research underscores the critical and expanding role of National Accounts teams. According to the findings in National Accounts 2025: A Guide to Benchmarking, Budgets & Productivity, staffing levels across these teams have risen to an average of 9.5 full-time employees (FTEs), up from an average of 8.5 in the prior five years.
