State Street Slashes Fees on $15B in Bond ETFs

Though State Street’s funds are competitively priced compared to rivals’, their performance does not stand out — a problem that could be solved by being the lowest-cost provider, said Jeff Strange, relationship manager at FUSE Research Network. The three ETFs have collectively increased their assets by $3 billion in the last two years, he added, which could have factored into the firm’s decision to reduce the funds’ fees.
