Most asset managers plan to roll out new product types, including active ETFs and interval funds, in the coming year to meet investor demand, a new survey has found. Over 90% of asset managers surveyed by FUSE Research Network said active ETFs will be a product development focus in the coming year, with 62% saying it will be a major focus. Firms want to launch products including separately managed accounts, active ETFs and model portfolios because they are transparent, tax-efficient, customized and have low fees, said Michael Evans, FUSE’s director of advisor and benchmark research.
