The active multisector bond mutual fund space is seeing a turnaround thanks to one particular PIMCO fund, while product development growth on the active ETF side continues, with firms like Fidelity and BlackRock launching new offerings in the space. “It does feel like that category certainly is ripe with opportunities for the rest of this year and certainly into at least the first half of next year,” said Loren Fox, director of research at FUSE Research Network, adding that the Fed not cutting rates benefits these funds.
