Pandemic Weatherproofed Marketing Pros but Not Their Budgets

Asset managers’ marketing professionals were often in line to be cut during past market downturns, but digital capabilities honed during the pandemic are making them more sought after than ever, even amid current volatility, analysts say. Some hiring plans may have been put on a “temporary hold,” but firms have recently struggled to fill certain marketing positions and the pause may not have a big impact in the short term, said Craig Kilgallen, relationship manager at FUSE Research.
