More institutional asset managers turning to data-driven sales and marketing strategies, survey finds

Institutional asset managers are increasingly relying on data to make decisions about the way they sell and market their investment strategies, according to the results of a survey out Dec. 1. The survey – a joint effort between asset management data and research provider FUSE Network and the SME Forum, a sales and marketing professional organization – found that 57% of respondents’ sales teams use data to prioritize clients and generate lists of prospects, up from 48% in 2021 when the survey was last conducted.
