Several liquid alternative products and some bond funds in the First Investors line could end up as new Delaware funds, says Fuse Research managing partner Neil Bathon. He identified eight First Investors mutual funds, representing a total of roughly $3 billion, that either don’t have an existing Delaware equivalent or are better, bigger or cheaper than a similar Delaware fund. Among them are the $869 million First Investors Total Return Fund and $622 million Fund for Income.
