Fixed-income specialist Lord Abbett is preparing a fund in the municipal ESG space which has seen limited interest and narrow competition. “It’s grown slowly over the last three years,” said Craig Kilgallen, relationship manager at FUSE Research. “I’m not surprised Lord Abbett entered this space, given that they are a fixed income shop. I think it ties into their beliefs and the way they invest.”
