Firms have had to offer higher compensation to get suitable candidates in the door over the past year, said Neil Bathon, founder and managing partner at FUSE Research Network. Since at least the summer, competition has driven up labor costs for new and existing staff, as reported. Bathon expects this trend to continue in 2022 for sales management, data analytics, digital marketing, product management and certain distribution roles, he added.
