Half of Active Funds Launched Since 2012 Flopped

Roughly half of all active funds launched since the end of 2012 have shuttered as they failed to reach profitability thresholds, according to a recent report from FUSE Research. The high rate of active fund closures should signal to fund managers that they should be thoughtful about when to launch strategies, according to Pat Newcomb, a relationship manager at FUSE.
