A recent series of focus groups conducted by Hearts & Wallets found that mass-affluent investors are drawn to tax efficiencies far more than the customization options. “I think for a lot of that kind of mass-affluent marketplace, they don’t have necessarily deeply involved tax issues,” said Craig Kilgallen, relationship manager at FUSE Research.
