Chris Frankie
I am primarily responsible for writing, researching and editing content for several of the company’s offerings, including issue briefs and research papers. In this role I am combining my 7+ years of knowledge of the investment management business with my 10 years of experience researching, writing and covering finance, the markets and the mutual fund industry.
Previously:
Lenny Dykstra’s Organizations 2008
Editor-in-Chief, Players Club Magazine, President of Nails Investments and editor of Nails on the Numbers newsletter. This role evolved rapidly over a very short period of time. In this role I managed the New York office for Mr. Dykstra’s many businesses. I helped create Nails on the Numbers, a newsletter that featured the deep-in-the-money calls of the former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder and served as Mr. Dykstra’s personal ghostwriter. In August I was named editor of the Players Club, a monthly finance and lifestyle magazine for professional athletes in the 10 major sports.
Ignites 2004-08 (a Financial Times publication)
Managing Editor. I started my tenure with Ignites, a daily e-newsletter for 50,000 mutual fund industry professionals, as a senior reporter covering the regulatory and compliance beat in 2004. I stepped into the managing editor’s role seven months later. During my tenure, Ignites experienced its most rapid growth.
Money Management Executive (a Thomson Media publication) 2002-04
Associate Editor. I served as a general assignment reporter, mainly focusing on regulatory compliance, the Security and Exchange Commission and Eliot Spitzer. I also covered the hedge fund industry.
